Atheism, I don't believe in it...

I am so happy to be married to my wife, Nyssa. She is great, but we are both imperfect, flawed, and sometimes sinful (which we both hate to be). Just a thought lol.

Anyways, recently it really hit me, being at a University I find lots of atheism and other religions. Now don't get me wrong, I have been across lots of them because, well I lived in the Puget Sound area in WA, one of the most liberal areas of the country. I have heard and studied quite a few of them. I still don't know even a millionth of a percent about everything ever though lol. I know nothing compared to God.Being in college I have really seen a huge increase in numbers of atheists. Atheism is the belief that there is no god(s). Usually atheism resorts to explanation of our world to many things (evolution, aliens, etc.). Those topics are another discussion.

Atheists commonly "attack" true followers of Christ with questions about God, suffering, knowledge, wisdom, reason, logic...ok ok where do I start? But being a little skeptical earlier in life about God, I personally searched these questions. Many people I know at college think its (and I am) nuts that I believe in "God." After my searching in life, though, I think it's nuts not to believe in God, and very importantly, Christ as our Saviour.

First off, if atheists believe or "know" there is no God, they themselves would have to be all-knowing. Because all humans know hardly anything by ourselves, I think the proper statement would be "From my limited knowledge, I BELIEVE there is no God." Now of course atheists will try to throw it back in our face by saying "well you have a limited knowledge too." Sure I am limited in their sense yes, but having the Holy Spirit in you gives light to everything else (another discussion). I think the proper term for a professing atheist would be "agnostic," a term everyone knows about. They really don't know if God is there or not. They have a limited knowledge like everyone else, so for them to really be certain, they'd have to know everything.

My thought is that many times people don't WANT to believe in God because then they would have to be accountable before Him. Everyone,( mentioned in the Bible as well), has the core sense in themselves that there is God; ever heard of an old tribe back in the day that didn't believe in God, would you say, an atheist tribe? I sure heck haven't. Psalm 10:4 supports this saying, "In the pride of his face, the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are, There is no God." It's not that we cannot find God, I see people not WANTING to find Him.

Creation gives proof that God exists. Atheists will argue against saying that the Big Bang or some other wacky theory did it. I want an atheist to take some metal shavings and put it in a bag, shake it for about 2.5 Billion years, and see if a wrist watch is made. Sounds stupid right? But that's the idea behind the Big Bang. The conservation of matter says matter cannot be created nor destroyed, it's funny atheists use this against Christians because it completely goes in God's favor. Think about it...if matter cannot be created any natural way, then how did it get there in the first place? Only creation, that God created matter supernaturally ( and nothing had to create God because God is outside the dimension of time, he has no beginning or ending, something most humans can't wrap their heads around) and brought us into being...just read Genesis. And it makes sense that creation took place. Think of a builder, and how he builds a skyscraper. We don't have to have faith to believe there was a builder, I think the same goes for a painter, sculptor, but ultimately God. God's creation is his building, no random order explosion brings organization, it only brings chaos.

Mankind must first accept, actually believe, and actually seek God before they can experience God. God wants people who fully believe in their heart that He exists. Of course there is nothing wrong with questions.

Hebrews 11:6
"And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek Him."

The ultimate goal is Christ, out of any religions, this is the one that is NOT a religion, but seeking a relationship with God through Christ. No ritual will save you, only faith in Christ as our Saviour, and repenting by admitting we're sinners and asking for forgiveness. Other "religions" are another discussion.

Of course people say Christians have killed many in the name of God and Christ. Correction...people who CLAIM they are Christians have killed many. Islam in the name of Allah, and atheism is no innocent animal. Ever heard of Communist Russia and China? Look up how many people they have killed in the name of Atheism. Then the argument of answered prayers, that's a funny ploy by atheists, as well as not embracing God of the Bible.

I could go on and on and discuss many questions about many things, but a later date I guess.

Many, including atheists, ask if I ever will give the chance to change my mind. Yes, I did about 6 years ago and it changed my life forever.

Wow, so here's the first one...finally!

Well, it's true. The first blog for this ... blog. Anyways, I'm so happy that I've finally come around to do it. My poor Nyssa, she's been having problems with her left wrist, and then it acted up again! I hate seeing her in that pain. :(

Wow, I have had an interesting last month. God has really helped me improve my faith in Him. I guess God, like promised in the book of James, tests our faith so that we may GROW.

I have an interview tomorrow. I pray God helps guide my thoughts and decisions in a way that will worship Him, and if God grant me the job, that it be done, whatever His Will is though, I accept it.

I love Christ so much; I mean he only sacrificed Himself for mankind's sin and all lol. Then rose from the grave!

Random thoughts above. Anyways, I guess I shall write again sometime. I love you, Father, Christ Jesus, for the blessings I have been given. A beautiful wife :) and an amazing group of close friends!
